One of the wildest places on the USA's east coast. It's kept that way because no bridges span across the water to it.You have to take a National Park Service Ferry and get a permit six months in advance. Only 300 people a day are permitted. And it's wild & wonderful. The location fix shown is for the gateway at the dock. For info on the web try the NPS website.
