[Q:How much do they cost?]

TreasureMaps® are free. They also make great little "adventure gifts" when you send them to friends.

[Q:What about risk?]

TreasureMaps® are map depictions of real spots. Reality is full of risk. It is often unpredictable, especially in outdoor, "adventure" settings. You could get hurt or killed. You could take yourself, your friends or your family into a dangerous situation. But you have to assume those risks for yourself, or please, don't use TreasureMaps®. There are lots of virtual games for people who want to minimize risk in their lives. We actually like those, too. But TreasureMaps® are not guides to virtual reality experiences. You use them at your own risk.

[Q:What kind of skills do I need?]

You need skills suited to the adventures you choose. Even experts get hurt on adventures. Get the skills you'll need to minimize your risk, and please don't depend solely on this site.

The internet and bookstores are full of information. Find a reputable outdoor store and ask advice. Go to a specialty school for training if you find an activity you really enjoy, and learn how to do it right. No shortcuts! That's dangerous.
